On May 11th in the afternoon, the Assembly Higher Education Committee hosted an oversight hearing at the State Capitol on “Preparing Teachers for the K-12 Ethnic Studies Requirement”.
Dr. Ernest Black, Systemwide Director for CalStateTEACH represented the California State University with a presentation on the CSU's plans to meet the workforce demand of teachers prepared to teach ethnic studies and highlighting the programs that most of our campuses are already doing.
